Yesterday, I walked a labyrinth. And then I did what I have never done before, kicked my shoes off and stood atop the rock at the center of the labyrinth, and deliberately looked around. at my bare feet on the rock. The neighbors' windows. the beautiful garden the labyrinth is in, including rosebushes that need deadheading. the breeze stirring all the gorgeous green trees.
and I realized - this is my body. with this body I see all this beauty. I don't hurt much. Eyes and ears work fine, mind works fine. With this body I experience the glory of the world.
With this body ... so much is possible! I am so grateful for this body, I need it to know that I love it and value it.
